Bingo Card Generator
Type in any list of words or numbers and generate a full class set of unique printable bingo cards, plus a caller sheet — any subject, any language.
About this bingo card generator
Type any list of words, numbers, or short phrases and this tool builds a complete, ready-to-print set of bingo cards for a whole class — genuinely unique cards, not the same layout reshuffled with a different font. If your list has more entries than a single card needs, each card draws its own random selection from the full list, so a 40-word vocabulary set produces real variety across 30 cards rather than 30 arrangements of the same 24 words. A matching caller sheet is generated alongside the cards, listing every possible item in a random calling order with a checkbox to tick off as you go.
Because it works from your own list rather than a fixed number range, this works for any subject and any language — sight words, multiplication facts, vocabulary in a second language, state capitals, science terms, or a purely numeric set for classic number bingo. A FREE center space is available for 3×3 and 5×5 grids, which have a true center cell; a 4×4 grid doesn't, since an even-sized grid has no single middle square.
Every card in a set is checked against every other card before printing, so two students are never handed identical cards by chance — a subtle failure mode that's easy to miss with simple shuffle-and-print approaches, especially once a class set grows past 20 or 30 cards.
Nothing you type is uploaded anywhere; the whole set, including the caller sheet, is generated and printed entirely in your browser.
Behind the scenes, each card is built by shuffling your full list and drawing however many words that grid size needs, rather than shuffling a single fixed set of exactly that size — which is what actually makes the "more variety with a bigger list" behavior work, and why it's worth entering more words than the strict minimum whenever you have them.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use this for any subject, not just games?
Yes. Since you supply your own word or number list, it works equally well for vocabulary review, math facts, spelling, science terms, or any other subject — not just traditional number bingo.
Are the cards actually different from each other?
Yes, every generated card is checked against all the others so no two are identical. If your word list is larger than a single card needs, each card also draws a different random subset of words, not just a different arrangement of the same set.
How many words do I need for each grid size?
At least 9 for a 3×3 grid, 16 for a 4×4 grid, and 25 for a 5×5 grid (24 if you include a FREE center space). You can enter more than the minimum for extra variety across cards.
What's the caller sheet for?
It lists every item from your list in a random order with a checkbox next to each one, so you can call them out one at a time and keep track of what's already been called.
Is my word list saved or uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything is generated locally in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
