About this dice roller & spinner

The Dice tab covers every standard tabletop die — d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100 — with support for rolling multiple dice at once (up to 20), adding a flat modifier to the total, and, specifically for d20, advantage or disadvantage: rolling two dice and keeping the higher or lower result, exactly the way tabletop games like D&D define it. Every roll is logged in a running history so you can glance back at what came up recently without needing to remember or write it down yourself.

The Spinner tab turns any list of options into a wheel — enter one option per line (2 to 12 options work best for a readable wheel), and spin for a genuinely random pick. It defaults to a sample list of dinner ideas, but works for anything: chores, movie picks, who goes first, or any decision you'd rather leave to chance than debate. Edit the list at any time and the wheel redraws itself to match.

Both the dice and the wheel use your browser's own random number generator, so results aren't predictable or reproducible from outside the tool — there's no seed or pattern to game, and nobody watching over your shoulder can guess the next result any better than you can.

Nothing here is saved between visits; it's a simple, stateless roll-and-spin tool that resets fresh each time you open it.

Frequently asked questions

What does advantage/disadvantage mean?

It's a d20-specific mechanic from tabletop games like D&D: roll two d20s and keep the higher result (advantage) or the lower result (disadvantage), then add any modifier.

How many options can the spinner wheel handle?

Any number, but 2 to 12 options work best for a wheel that stays readable. More options make each wedge smaller and harder to read at a glance.

Is the roll or spin actually random?

Yes, both use your browser's own random number generator. Results aren't predictable or reproducible from outside the tool.

Does it remember my dice history or wheel options?

The roll history and current wheel options stay visible while you're using the tool, but nothing is saved once you close or reload the page — it starts fresh each visit.

Can I roll more than one die at a time?

Yes, set the number of dice (up to 20) alongside your chosen die type, and optionally add a flat modifier to the total.
